🔒 Tab Tycoon collects zero personal data. All game data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted anywhere.

1. What This Extension Does

Tab Tycoon is a browser-based idle clicker game. You click to open virtual tabs, earn coins, purchase upgrades, and progress through reboot multipliers. It is a self-contained game with no online functionality, no accounts, and no servers.

2. Data We Collect

We collect nothing. Tab Tycoon does not collect, transmit, share, or store any personal information, usage analytics, browsing history, or any other data about you or your device.

3. Local Storage

Tab Tycoon uses your browser's built-in localStorage API solely to save your game progress between sessions. This data includes:

Your in-game coin and tab counts
Which upgrades you have purchased and their levels
Your reboot count and multiplier
Session statistics (time played, storms triggered, total clicks)

This data lives entirely on your local device. It is never read by, sent to, or accessible by anyone other than you.

4. Permissions Used

Tab Tycoon requests only one browser permission:

storage — Required to save and load game progress locally. Without this, your progress would be lost every time you close the extension.

No other permissions are requested. Tab Tycoon does not access your tabs, browsing history, clipboard (except when you explicitly click "Copy" in the dev console), location, camera, microphone, or any other browser APIs.

5. No Third Parties

Tab Tycoon does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or tracking tools. No external scripts, fonts (fonts are system fonts), or resources are loaded at runtime.

6. No Remote Code

All code that runs in Tab Tycoon is bundled within the extension package itself. No code is loaded from remote servers at runtime. The extension functions entirely offline.

7. Children's Privacy

Tab Tycoon does not knowingly collect any information from anyone. Because it collects no data at all, there are no special concerns regarding users under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Since the extension collects no data, any future changes would only concern adding new offline features.
